The Story Of Donald Trump’s “Battle Of The Billionaires” WWE Match

A lot of Americans may already know this, but for non-US I’m A Useless Info Junkie readers, this may come as a surprise. Donald Trump is a huge wrestling fan, specifically a fan of the WWE. Besides his multiple appearances on Monday Night Raw, Donald hosted multiple wrestling events at his Trump Plaza over the years

One of the most notable appearances though, was when he had a rivalry role with the chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon putting his hair on the line!

They each bet on a wrestler, in an event called “The Battle of the Billionaires”, with the loser having to shave their head! Trump ended up winning the bet and, he and his chosen wrestler, Bobby Lashley, shaved McMahon’s head completely bald in front of a crowd at WrestleMania 23. (the article continues after the ad)

Not only that, but Donald actually showed off his own wrestling moves, clotheslining McMahon at one point and delivering a few blows of his own.

Here’s the video of the match (Trump’s attack is at 0:55):
