We’ve always been told not to judge a book by its cover but, when you step into a bookstore, covers are pretty much the first thing you notice.
Not in this one though.
Elizabeth’s bookstore in Newtown, Australia has found a clever way to help us look for other things when buying a book. They wrap their books in brown paper, handwrite a few key words on the front so customers can get an idea on what they could find inside and call them Blind Date Books: (the article continues after the ad)
This insanely cool idea started out by an employer of the bookstore who named the whole thing “a blind date with a book”.
It was originally planned as a Valentine’s Day promotional idea but it quickly spread out and it’s now the book store’s main attraction.
How awesome is that?
