Countries are often associated with products – wine in France, beer in Germany, olive oil in Greece, electronics in Japan.
But a recent test from website Fixr.com showed that these things aren’t exactly what people are searching for. By using the autocomplete formula “How much does * cost in [x country]”, they put together a map on most-Googled product in each and every country.
It’s important here to note that results are far from scientific (Google’s autocomplete results are based on location, on time of search and on searcher’s history), but they are entertaining to say the least. (the article continues after the ad)

• People in Russia really want to know how much a flight in a MIG aircraft costs.
• Brazilians want to know how much a prostitute costs more than anything else.
• People in South Korea want to know how much rhinoplasty costs.
