Nicolas Cage has been long known for his weird behaviour both in front and behind the cameras. And even though he’s into his fifties now, his eccentric behaviour does not seem to end anytime soon.
His latest purchase is bizarre, to say the least: the guy bought his very own pyramid mausoleum in New Orleans where he’s going to be buried after his death.
The tomb is located at the city’s St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 and it’s a complete 9-foot (2.75m) tall stone pyramid. The inscription on the pyramid now reads “Omni Ab Uno”, which translates to “Everything From One”. The actor has remained silent about the tomb but locals don’t seem too impressed about the idea. After all, the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is one of the most beloved cemeteries in the city, home of numerous New Orlean’s famous personalities. (the article continues after the ad)
Needless to say that the pyramid has already become somewhat of an attraction with random people visiting the cemetery just to see in person Nicola’s Cage resting place.
