How Small Were The Smallest Dinosaurs?

We all know the big, scary disnosaurs, but not every one of them was that huge. Of course, there were smaller dinosaurs but, how small were they? The size of a bear? Of a dog?

Well surprisingly, no. They were actually much much smaller.

Microraptor, Compsognathus and Saltopus were the smallest dinosaurs and they were about 40cm long, just like a pigeon or a hen! Here are pictures of the three species: (the article continues after the ad)
