Did you know that you are actually 1% taller in the morning than in the evening? I know, it sounds insane but there’s a pretty good reason for it.
Because of the activities we do during the day, the cartilage in our spine, our knees as well as in other areas of our body, is slowly compressed, thus making us shorter by around half an inch (1-1,5cm). When we go to sleep though, we replenish the “lost” cartilage, its levels go back back to normal and we get that half an inch back!
