We all know that our beloved “heroes in a half shell” were obsessed with pizza. I remember watching the show back in the early ’90s and wanting to pickup the phone and order myself a delicious, cheese-melting pizza. But i’ve never really wondered what went into that pizza. Well, up until now and as it turns out, thank god i didn’t.
Why? Because when you learn the ingredients i think you’ll agree with me that those pizzas were simply… gross. I mean, who eats a “tuna fish, peanut butter and grape jelly” pizza? Or a “marshmallow and asparagus” pizza?
