In the city of Cincinnati, Ohio there is a subway system that was built, never used and left abandoned.

More than 100 years ago, the residents of Cincinnati, Ohio had the dream of building an underground trail. The project started in 1916 but, due to several reasons, such as a decision to stop rapid transit construction and of course, the Great Depression, it was abandoned with 6 stations, a total of 6 miles of infrastructure and 2.2 miles of underground tunnels.
