There’s An Extremely Weird Thing Happening On Planet Venus

Venus is the hottest planet in our galaxy with temperature reaching up to 410°C. And even though this is extremely weird on its own (after all, its not the closest planet to the sun), scientists have now discovered something more bizarre.

In Venus it snows metal!

Dr. Bruce Fegley, professor of earth and planetary scientists at Washington University explains:
“On Venus the lower atmosphere and surface are hundreds of degrees hotter than the surface of the Earth and metallic compounds emitted by volcanoes on Venus condense in the cooler regions of the atmosphere and snow out on the surface.”
